Entry Level Driver Training
Effective February 7, 2022: If you are applying for a CDL for the first time or adding a Hazmat, Passenger, or School Bus endorsement for the first time, you must complete entry-level driver training (ELDT) prior to taking a CDL road test. Hazmat ELDT is required prior to taking the Hazardous Materials knowledge test. The training provider must be registered on the FMCSA Training Provider Registry. Commercial Driver Training is an approved training provider on the FMCSA registry.
We offer ELDT training for all of our courses:
- Theory in class Instruction for Class A and B full time and part time weekends.
- Theory can also be done online with full CDT support
- Hazmat ELDT training, in person only. 1 day class during the week or on a weekend.
- Road and Range for Class A, B and BPS
